Hey everyone,
Here's some news from the past couple months.
December and January have been busy and a lot of fun. December found me in the studio at Sear Sound in New York recording with the pianist Ben Winkelman and bassist Sam Anning for Ben's new trio recording - keep an eye out for that. After that I played a fun New Year's Eve concert with The New York Voices in Boston, and then it was off to South America to play with Paquito D'Rivera in Uruguay for the International Jazz Festival in Punta del Este. Paquito is the artistic director of the festival, and I've had the pleasure of playing there several times now. Always great music, great people, and of course, Summertime in Uruguay isn't half bad. After that it was back stateside for some gigs in Maryland with Paquito's Quintet.
The next couple months have a lot of exciting stuff in the works, so check back soon!
